Stay Involved
Hopefully your project will inspire you to keep learning about your topic. Consider sharing your results. Here are a few ways to take your project to the next step:

  • Continue your research: You may want to refine your project, test another variable, experiment in another location, increase your sample size, or expand your area of study.
  • Share your results: There could be important, real-world applications for your data. Contact local experts, schools and organizations with your project results.
  • Take action: Contact organizations and groups that focus on your project's topic. Find out what studies are being done to address current issues affecting the local environment, then take steps in your community to make a difference.
  • Keep learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest studies, issues, and findings related to your topic. Most environmental groups publish newsletters or journals, but you can also find several environmental publications online.
  • Seek opportunities: A single project or question can sometimes lead to a lifetime of learning or even a career. Learn more aboutcareer opportunities in conservation.
